Only heard today they have banned these races. What a joke. It was one of the special things about this event.

Amen. And WHAT exactly are the PGA Police going to do about it if they feel a Caddie has broken the 'speed limit'? Fine them? Penalize the golfer who's bag they're on? DQ them? The silly thing is we've all seen how these races start. First the pace quickens from a walk to a 'brisk' walk. From there it just gets a little faster bit at a time. It's not like they get in starting blocks or something. It's all voluntary anyway so why can't the PGA let them have fun!?

Love it or hate it, it's all about entertainment. It's not so much about how the caddies behave in this situation, it's about the way professional golfers handle themselves on and off the course that gives this wonderful game the reputation it deserves - and currently enjoys. I tip my hat to the PGA tour
